| Halloween at Tivoli Sunday 22nd October, 2006 - 23:47pm Copenhagen |
One of my favourite places in Copenhagen is Tivoli Gardens. It is an amusement park and pleasure gardens situated in the heart of Copenhagen. Tivoli operates for three seasons throughout the year. They are not quite your ordinary seasons but definitely the most important ones: Summer, Halloween and Christmas season. Possibly a little early for Halloween, but the Halloween season has just come to a close. As a season pass* holder to Tivoli, I ventured out to Tivoli this weekend to check out the Halloween festivities. The place had been transformed into a pumpkin wonderland, literally, there were thousands of pumpkins scattered around the gardens. At every turn there were pumpkin headed scarecrows, carved pumpkins, witches, black cats, cauldrons and all good things associated with Halloween. It was certainly a feast for the camera :) As always the photos say more than I could ever write.
