Wine charm on glass and coaster

Last night was Caitlin and Jack's Engagement/Housewarming Party and for a present I made them a set of wine charms and coasters with the vintage travel theme. Each of the wine charms depicts a different city from a different country and when placed around the stem of a wine glass, each guest is easily able to identify their wine. This means you'll never lose your glass or left wondering "which one is mine" at a party.

It's been a few years (about 5) since I last made wine charms and they are relatively simple and easy to make. If you can handle a pair of scissors and a gluestick (kindergarten basics) and wield a can of spray on varnish without suffocating on fumes, yes, opening the window is wise, then you are onto a good start. The trickiest part of the construction is using a pair of pliers to make a loop around the top bead which if not done with care may chip the bead. Oops! That'll teach me for trying a fancy loop, simple ones work best.
